Lakewood’s long-standing commitment to fun and affordable events for families continues this summer with the “Finally it’s Friday” event series.
Programs run Friday evenings from June to September.
Activities include movies, game nights, a BBQ and “FUN-Tastic Family Night” events, which pair live entertainment with dinner.
Registration is required for most events. Many are free.
June 9 - Community Car Show at Palms Park
June 16 - FUN-Tastic Family Night at The Centre featuring Jedi:Intergalactic Adventures
June 30 - Movie Night Under the Stars at Monte Verde Park: Disney's Strange World
July 7 - Save a Life event at Mayfair Pool POSTPONED; new date to be advised
July 14 - Movie Night Under the Stars at Palms Park: Minions - The Rise of Gru
July 21 - Movie Night Under the Stars at Biscailuz Park: Puss in Boots - The Last Wish
July 28 - Family Scavenger Hunt at Lakewood Mall
August 4 - Parents Night Out, Kids Night In at Lakewood Youth Center
August 11 - Community BBQ at Palms Park
August 18 - Movie Night Under the Stars at San Martin Park: The Super Mario Bros. Movie
