Help is needed throughout the year to provide food for Lakewood families in need through our food pantries.
You can also make a tax-deductible donation to Project Shepherd online or by mail anytime. Donations of any amount, whether by check or credit card, help Project Shepherd fill the gap in providing items not otherwise donated.
Everything donated to Project Shepherd goes to those who need it most.
How you can help
Donations of food and personal care items are always accepted at the Burns Community Center, Lakewood City Hall, or any city park facility.
Donate food and personal care items (year-round)
Volunteers are needed to help at the Lakewood Youth Center and the Burns Community Center, organizing canned goods, packing and moving boxes, assisting patrons to their vehicles, end of the day cleanup and other tasks as needed.
