Published on February 05, 2023
Online learning due to the pandemic has set back many students in critical subjects such as math.
Middle school and high school students can get free homework help on Thursday afternoons from 4 to 6:15 p.m. at the Lakewood Youth Center starting Feb. 9.
The West Angeles Education and Enrichment Program provides experienced well-qualified tutors to assist students in grades 6-12 with school projects and all levels of math, chemistry and language arts.
These free classes are offered from 4-6:15 p.m. on Thursdays from February to April and on Tuesdays in May. For help with finals, sessions will be held on Tuesday and Thursday, June 6 and 8.
Pre-registration is required, so register now.
The Lakewood Youth Center is located at 4658 Woodruff Ave. in Lakewood.
