Family fun at your local Lakewood park

Two family-friendly events are coming to your local Lakewood park: Family Game Night and Community Walk.

Both are a great chance to meet your neighbors, get some fresh air and exercise or enjoy a little friendly competition and fun. 

Family Game Night will be held at each Lakewood park, challenging kids versus parents, family versus family, trivia, charades and more, on two dates.

The dates are Friday, March 25 from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday, May 25 from 6 to 8 p.m. Light refreshments will be served.

You can also come out to meet your neighbors in a stroll around your local park.

A Community Walk covering a two-mile walk will be held at each park on two dates, one in the morning and one in the evening. 

The dates are Saturday, April 30 from 9 to 10 a.m. and Wednesday, June 8 from 6 to 7 p.m. Meet at the park for light refreshments, water and a map of the walking route.
