Movie theater at Lakewood Center is now open!

Starlight Cinemas Theater

If you love watching a movie on the big screen, there’s good news for you in Lakewood. The former Pacific Theatres at Lakewood Center, which closed permanently during the pandemic, is now open under new management.

Starlight Cinemas, a family-owned small chain of theatres, opened the 16-screen Lakewood theatre on July 21.

Starlight prides itself on great customer service and on making movie-going affordable for everyone. 

Here are some features that Starlight will bring to the Lakewood theatre:

  • $5 tickets all day Tuesday and until 6 p.m. Sunday
  • Major studio releases on all screens, but with classic movies every other Wednesday at 7 p.m. (usually for $7). 
  • Reserved seating for convenience, instead of the first-come, first-served seating that Pacific Theatres had before.
