Free advanced math help
Online learning due to the pandemic has set back many students in critical subjects such as math.
West Angeles EEP, a highly regarded nonprofit community-based program, is offering free advanced math assistance with problem-solving sessions taught by top math tutors.
Students in grades 8-12 or in junior college who are struggling with math may register online for hands-on help at a series of four class sessions (April 6, April 20, May 4, May 18) held at the Lakewood Youth Center on Wednesdays evenings from 6 to 8 p.m.
The Lakewood Youth Center is located at 4658 Woodruff Avenue.
