September COVID-19 vaccine booster shot clinics

Two free COVID-19 vaccination and booster clinics will be offered in Lakewood in September.

The Omicron bivalent booster shot will be offered at the Sept. 23 vaccination clinic.

The new bivalent booster is only available to those who have already received their first two primary doses.

If you are unsure of your eligibility, visit the CDC's website for current information and a helpful tool to determine when you can get a booster.

The clinics will be held:

Wednesday, Sept. 14

  • 2 to 7 p.m.
  • Palms Park Community Center, 12305 207th St.

Friday, Sept. 23

  • 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • Weingart Senior Center, 5220 Oliva Ave.

You can schedule your appointment online. You’ll be asked to provide a phone number or email address during the booking process.

Bring these items with you to your appointment

  • Photo ID and confirmation number
  • Proof of age for ages 12-17 (official document; see flyer for examples).
  • All patients should be prepared to provide current, verifiable insurance information.

     

Parent or guardian must accompany persons under the age of 18.
