Lakewood Concerts in the Park continues through Aug. 12

Lakewood's Concerts in the Park is back!

For six Thursday nights in a row starting July 8, Del Valle Park will come alive with popular and diverse musical acts. Concerts will run from July 8 to August 12, 6:30 to 8 p.m. 

Low-back lawn chairs and blankets are encouraged. Pets, barbeques and alcoholic beverages are prohibited. No umbrellas or canopies.

The Woodruff service road will remain open until 5:30 p.m. for patron drop-off. 

With the June 15 reopening, the concerts have returned to the come-one-come-all format. If you have questions, please call 562-866-9771, extension 2408.

July 22: Hard Days Nights (Beatles Tribute)

VCHOS, Deli Doctor, Ridges Churro Bar, plus Manna's Kettle Korn.

Bring donations of new backpacks or school supplies for Project Shepherd to the Recreation & Community Services booth for a chance to win a Family Pack from WingStop! One entry per person. Drawing held at 7:30 p.m.

July 29: Electric Vinyl (Classic Rock)
