Lakewood city officials are closely monitoring information and recommendations from the L.A. County Dept. of Public Health and the state and federal governments in terms of actions that should be taken here in Lakewood to protect public health and in terms of assistance available to workers and businesses.

Lakewood has also activated its emergency radio station (1620-AM) on news and special services available to Lakewood residents during the coronavirus crisis. Give 1620 a listen while you are driving around town.

Street sweeping citations resumed July 6

Street sweeping parking enforcement resumed in Lakewood beginning the week of July 6, 2020.

Since June 22, residents parked on the street on sweeping days received a courtesy notice on their windshield.
