Discounts on internet service for eligible households

The new federally-funded Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) available through the Federal Communications Commission provides a discount of up to $75 per month towards internet service for eligible households.

Eligible households can also receive a one-time discount of up to $100 to purchase a laptop, desktop computer, or tablet from participating providers.

Your household is eligible if a member of the household meets ONE of these criteria:

  • Participates in assistance programs, including SNAP, Medicaid, Veterans Pension or Survivor’s Benefits, School Lunch Program, or Lifeline. Complete list at website below.
  • Received a federal Pell Grant during the current award year.
  • Meets the eligibility criteria for a participating provider’s existing low-income program.
