Lakewood residents are invited to an open forum where you can ask questions and share your thoughts and ideas on Tuesday, Oct. 18 at 5:30 p.m. at Bloomfield Park, 21420 Pioneer Blvd.

Please RSVP to ytorres@lakewoodcity.org or by phone at 562-866-9771, ext. 2408, by Friday, Oct. 14.

The City of Lakewood will be renovating the playgrounds at three city parks over the next year, courtesy of taxpayer funds from the voter-approved L.A. County Safe, Clean Neighborhood Parks and Beaches Measure (Measure A).

As part of the Measure A funding process, the city will be engaging residents and getting their input on the preliminary designs for the playgrounds at Biscailuz, Bloomfield and Boyar Parks.

Preliminary playground renderings for each site can be found below.
