Lakewood's traditional Halloween Carnivals offer fun and safety for youngsters on the year's spookiest night.

Carnival activities are scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 31 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at Biscailuz, Bloomfield, Bolivar, Boyar, Del Valle, Mayfair, Palms and San Martin parks.

Each park will have a special theme

  • Biscailuz Park: Shrek
  • Bloomfield Park: Dr. Seuss
  • Bolivar Park: Nightmare Before Christmas
  • Boyar Park: Despicable Me
  • Del Valle Park: Five Nights at Freddy's
  • Mayfair Park: Hotel Transylvania
  • Palms Park: Pokemon
  • San Martin Park: Gravity Falls

“Haunted houses” for little ghosts and goblins to venture inside will be available at Bolivar, Del Valle, Palms and San Martin parks.

There will be inflatable attractions at Mayfair Park for an additional fee.
