Engineering: College Fair workshop

As a follow-up to Lakewood's Oct. 10 College Fair, parents and teens are invited to attend a free presentation about the field of Engineering held on Friday, Oct. 20 at the Lakewood Youth Center from 6 to 7 p.m.

Presented by Vanessa Coria, UC Riverside Alumni - B.S. Chemical Engineering, this session will help students:

• Learn about the different engineering fields.
• Learn about different engineering industries.
• Learn about the general steps to apply for college.
• Get tips and tricks to help in school. 

This is a free session but registration is required.

The Lakewood Youth Center is located at 4658 Woodruff Avenue.
