Oct. 2 is National Coffee with a Cop Day, which is a day dedicated to encouraging communication and positive interactions between law enforcement and the community.
It’s part of Lakewood's ongoing work to provide lots of opportunities for residents to meet with and get to know Lakewood public safety personnel.
National Coffee with a Cop Day is recognized on the first Wednesday in October and this year marks the initiative's seventh year of service.
