Trevor Erno honored as Co-Athlete of the Year
The Lakewood Hall of Fame celebrates Trevor Erno of Lakewood High School as a Co-Athlete of the Year in football.
Trevor is described by Rivals.com as a “strong, old school, inside linebacker.” The Lancer defender led his team with 130 tackles, 8.5 sacks, three forced fumbles and one blocked field goal. For his efforts, Trevor’s honors included: All-CIF Pac-Five first-team defense, Co-Moore League Defensive MVP, Long Beach Press Telegram’s Football Dream Team Defensive Player of the Year, MaxPreps first-team Division I All-State and PrepStar All-American. Trevor was also invited to three national all-star games, participating in the Offense-Defense Sports All-America game in South Carolina in 2009.
One of the top-ranked high school linebackers in the country on several scouting services, Trevor has accepted a full scholarship to attend the University of Arizona and play football for the Wildcats.
A historic commemoration can be seen at The Hall of Fame gallery in the McDonald’s restaurant at 4848 Woodruff Avenue. The remodeled gallery includes enhanced displays and new digital video presentations. More . . . |
