Tips on using online forms

Online Graffiti Report

Carefully fill out the online graffiti reporting form. Details help! Don't overlook the checkboxes asking whether there is a "graffiti access release on file" for the the location you are reporting.

Reporting graffiti is the first part of the removal process. Filing a graffiti access release is another. Once graffiti is reported access releases give city paint crews permission to quickly paint out graffiti at specific locations.

Don't let being unsure about the release process stop you from reporting graffiti.

Graffiti Access Releases

Graffiti access releases filed with the city give paint crews access to your property. Many businesses and private residences regularly file annual releases at city hall to expedite painting out graffiti.

Please help get a release filed for a particular location. When reporting graffiti your insight into who owns a graffitied location may be just as important as providing an accurate report about the location.

Also, giving a release form to another homeowner or business owner is helpful.

Graffiti Release - Residential properties only
Graffiti Release - Commercial properties only

Release forms must be printed, filled out and then mailed, or walked in to the city's customer service staff. An original signature of the property owner is required on releases. Signed and faxed copies are valid for a one-time removal, but a signed original must be submitted to the city. A release is valid for one year. Additonal information

Light Out Report

Light Pole numbers really help us service representative get a problem fixed.

Before you report a street light, jot down the pole number. And, note the address where the pole is located and the cross street. Some poles are made of wood or steel and the pole numbers are approximately seven digits long with the letter "E" at the end.

The pole numbers are painted on the pole or engraved on a metal tag, placed at eye-level. Other poles are made of concrete with pole numbers located at eye level, painted black on a white background, and shown as a fraction like: 28/2. You can also phone in a street light report, call 866-9771, extension 2140.
