Room Rentals, Banquet Facilities and Picnic Shelters
Lakewood facilities are available for special events, banquets, family gatherings and meetings

Premier parks and banquet facilities. Formal to family gathering at the park.

It’s easy to request Lakewood’s community centers and park facilities for private use. There are hourly charges for room rentals, athletic fields and swimming pools and picnic shelters for special outdoor gatherings are free to Lakewood residents and community based groups.

For those extraordinary occasions, the Centre at Sycamore Plaza is Lakewood’s premier facility with over 15,000 square feet of banquet and meeting space. It offers meals prepared by a professional catering staff, audio/visual, meeting services and adequate parking.

Community Rooms and Athletic Fields For special events and business gatherings, Lakewood’s parks and community centers offer indoor rooms for rent. Rental fees include tables and chairs. Soccer fields and softball fields such as Lisa Fernandez Field provide an opportunity for sport competition and recreation fun. The Centre at Sycamore Plaza
		The Centre at Sycamore Plaza 5000 Clark Avenue 562-804-4434 Lakewood’s premiere banquet, meeting facility and community center celebrated 20 year of success in 2005. Since the Centre’s opening in 1985, hundreds of thousands of individuals and groups have made the Centre at Sycamore Plaza their location for special events. Renovations keep the facility fresh and inviting. The Centre offers meals prepared by a professional catering staff, convenient location with free parking, and audio/visual and meeting services. Picnic Shelters for Lakewood Residents Lakewood residents and community organizations may reserve picnic shelters for outdoor gatherings. All picnic shelters are covered and include picnic tables and barbecue grills. Some shelters have sinks and a preparation table. There is not a charge for residents and community organizations to reserve a shelter. Reservation requests must be completed in person at the park for which the reservation is desired. Reservations are accepted two months in advance of the requested date and no less than 72 hours in advance. Proof of residency required.
