The Planning and Environment Commission develops policies for land use, zoning and the city’s General and Specific Plans. The commission meets on the first Thursday of the month.
Lakewood residents serve on this one of three advisory commissions. Each is composed of five members appointed by the city council to a two-year term. Commission meetings begin at 7:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers. They are open to the public.
