New classes
The catalog offers programs through January 2010 and includes many new adult classes such as: Circuit Training, Six Pack Abs, Women’s Morning Doubles (tennis), Spanish Cooking, Greek Cuisine and Family Organization for adults.
New children’s classes include Halloween Fun, Hip Hop Workshop, Winter Dance Camp, and Itsy Bitsy Cheerleaders. The popular “Family Camp” will take place October 17 and 18 and the special family program “Alpine Family Christmas” is scheduled for December 12, both at Monte Verde Park.
This season’s theme is: Lakewood Goes Back to Tomorrow! Long-time residents will enjoy some of the historic photos on the cover and new residents can see how Lakewood has continued to provide great facilities and programs for decades. The catalog provides residents a guide for planning their family’s fall and winter activities. There’s also a special Teen and Youth activities pull out section in the center of the catalog.
