Streets and alleys in Lakewood are provided with street lighting. Most city lights are maintained through an innovative partnership with City Light and Power, a private company. Some lights are owned and maintained by the Edison Company.
Call 888-LIGHT OUT or 562-983-2000 to report any broken or burned out street lamp. Before you call, jot down the pole number and note both the address where the pole is located and the cross street at the end of the block.

A traffic signal that is not working or flashing a red or yellow signal is an emergency service request.
If you are calling to report a malfunctioning traffic signal during city hall business hours, call 562-866-9771, extension 2140.
If you are calling after business hours, call 562-866-9771 and follow the recorded instructions to page a member of the city's emergency response team.
