Ordering steps

Welcome to the City of Lakewood Recreation and Community Services On-line Catalog of classes. The classes listed are only a sampling of our most popular programs this summer. We hope to move forward in offering more e-commerce listings in the near future. If you would like a complete listing of all our classes, please use this on-line form to request a copy of the most recent Recreation Catalog or you may view the entire catalog on-line.

  • Please note that some classes may require an additional material fee. This is payable to the instructor directly in class. (Material fees are most common with cooking classes, art classes and preschool programs). If you would like to verify if a class you are interested in requires a materials fee, please call the Recreation and Community Services Department at (562) 866-9771 ext. 2408.

  • Youth Camps Require Non-Resident Charges - Some classes charge a slightly higher non-resident fee that is indicated by "NR" listed after the course number. If you are not a Lakewood resident and signing up for youth camps, you must select the non-resident choice. The quickest way for non-residents to find "NR" camp programs is to use the "search" button and search on "NR".
