The Lakewood Good Neighbors program recognizes Lakewood residents for their small, but valuable acts of kindness, thoughtfulness, caring, and generosity.
Do you know a good neighbor who who takes a disabled friend to medical appointments? The youngster who helps clean up his neighborhood by collecting litter? A volunteer handyman on your block who always has time to help a neighbor patch a fence or fix a sticking door? The buddy who mows the lawn of an elderly neighbor each week?
Lakewood thrives on small acts of kindness like these. They show we’re still a caring community. In every generation, Lakewood residents have gathered together as friends and neighbors who believe that small kindnesses make big differences.
