City Manager and City Attorney
pictures: city manager, attorney Both the city manager and the city attorney play a critical role in the smooth operation of a municipality.

City Manager Howard L. Chambers became Lakewood’s CEO in 1976.

Steven Skolnik is now Lakewood's City Attorney, following the long tenured John S. Todd who was known as the  “Father of the Lakewood Plan.” He retired in 2004.
